DexScreener paid services: what they cost, how to pay, and what happened next

What DexScreener sells — Enhanced Token Info (Dex Paid), boosts, ads, CTO — what each costs, how to pay, and what happened to tokens that paid.

By DXT Tools Research · updated Aug 23, 2026

The DexScreener marketplace (marketplace.dexscreener.com) is where token teams pay DexScreener. Between it and the token page, DexScreener sells four things: an Enhanced Token Info profile (what traders call "Dex Paid"), Boosts (the lightning badge that lifts a token in Trending), Ads (banner and Trending-bar placements) and the Community Takeover (CTO) hand-over of a profile. Listing itself is free — every pair with liquidity appears automatically — so all of this is optional marketing.

Two readers, two halves. Token teams: how to pay DexScreener, what each product does and what it costs. Traders: what a "DexScreener paid" badge is worth as a signal — we record every DexScreener payment the public API exposes, the market cap at that moment, and what happened next, the part DexScreener never shows.

What the DexScreener marketplace is

The marketplace is DexScreener's self-service checkout for token teams. As of 23 Aug 2026 its front page lists three products — Enhanced Token Info, Token Advertising and Trending Bar Advertising — each with a short form, a price, and "pay with crypto or credit card"; a fourth, the Token Community Takeover claim, has its own product page. Boosts are the exception: they are bought with the yellow Boost button on the token page itself (web only, not in the mobile app). Only direct ad deals involve a human, by email.

None of these products changes the chart, the liquidity or the contract; they change how the token is presented and, for boosts and Trending-bar ads, where it appears. Every purchase is public by design: the badges are visible to everyone, and the boost and profile lists are exposed through the public API. DexScreener reviews what it publishes — a misleading profile can be rejected, and boosts can be removed from a flagged token.

Enhanced Token Info ("Dex Paid")

DexScreener Enhanced Token Info is a one-time payment that turns a bare pair page into a profile: logo, header banner, website, socials, a description, and the check-mark next to the token name. Until a team pays, the page shows only what the blockchain shows — symbol, price, liquidity — and traders read the missing logo as "nobody has spent anything on this yet". Hence the nickname Dex Paid, and the first question in any launch chat: "is it dex paid?"

Price: $299, shown on the marketplace as discounted from $499 when we checked on 23 Aug 2026, payable in crypto or by credit/debit card. Processing, in DexScreener's own words, is "most orders within a few minutes, allow up to 12 hours". The moment the profile appears in the API is what we record as the "Dex Paid" event, with the market cap at that second.

What it does not do: it does not rank the token higher, does not verify the team, and is not an audit. The check-mark means "information reviewed", not "project endorsed". Treat it as a budget signal — the team had $299 and chose to spend it here — and nothing more.

Boosts

A boost is a timed multiplier on a token's Trending Score, sold in packs (10x, 30x, 50x, 100x and 500x) and shown as a lightning bolt with the cumulative number next to the token name. It is the only DexScreener product that changes where a token sits rather than how it looks. At 500 or more active boosts the token also gets the Golden Ticker — its symbol turns gold across the screener.

Boosts are bought from the token page, apply as soon as the payment confirms, and last 12 to 24 hours depending on the pack (docs). Packs stack, and the badge shows the total of all active packs. When the window ends the token falls back to wherever its organic volume puts it. Boosts are non-refundable, unavailable for tokens inactive over 24 hours or flagged by audit partners, and can be bought by anyone — a holder, a rival, an agency — so a large boost proves someone had money, not necessarily the developers.

The pack size is the most useful thing about it. The DexScreener boost price per pack is shown only inside the Boost dialog on the token page, so we do not quote a table; the shape is clear — from a low three-figure sum for 10x to thousands of dollars for 500x. We record every boost with its pack size and the market cap at that moment, and report how often each size was followed by a run or a flop in the Boosts guide.

DexScreener ads and advertising

DexScreener ads come in three tiers. Token Advertising ("starts at $299" on the marketplace, 23 Aug 2026) puts your logo and socials in banner slots on the site and apps for a fixed number of impressions — DexScreener tells you the impression count upfront. Trending Bar Advertising ("from $2,000") puts the token on the Trending bar for every token on the same chain, rotated with up to five other advertisers, in packages from 24 hours to one week. Direct deals — presales, specific chains or pages — are arranged by email with a $100,000 minimum budget, KYC, and payment via Coinbase Commerce or Stripe (advertise page, checked 23 Aug 2026). This is DexScreener advertising in the ordinary sense: you buy impressions, not a badge.

Marketplace ad orders are "processed within a few minutes" and paid in crypto or by card; direct deals take a day or more by email, and DexScreener keeps the right to decline a project even after KYC. A token running a campaign shows an "Ad" label on its page. The banner-size guide lists the dimensions.

On the DexScreener ad price overall: the entry points are $299, $2,000 and $100,000; what a campaign actually costs depends on impressions, chain and duration, and the marketplace shows the figure as you configure it. DexScreener is explicit that a Trending-bar ad "does not in any way guarantee that your token will trend". If someone quotes you a fixed "DexScreener ads cost", check it on the marketplace that day.

For traders an ad is the most deliberate spend of the four: a budget exists and a human prepared creative; it says nothing about the contract. Every campaign we detect, with the market cap when it went live, is on the ads feed.

CTO (community takeover)

A CTO is a community taking control of a token's DexScreener profile after the original team has left. The group orders the Token Community Takeover claim on the marketplace — described there as adding a Community Takeover claim to a project with an existing profile, and listed at $199 (shown as reduced from $499) when we checked on 23 Aug 2026 — and submits the new links, images and description. If DexScreener accepts, the profile passes to the new group and the token page carries a CTO mark. A token that never had a profile is not taken over: the community simply buys Enhanced Token Info like any other team.

For traders a CTO is a mixed signal: the original developers left, and a group of holders cared enough to do paperwork. How those tokens perform afterwards is in the CTO guide and the live CTO feed.

Prices: what each product costs

Figures below are what the marketplace and docs showed on 23 Aug 2026. Boost rows are orders of magnitude, because pack prices appear only in the Boost dialog on each token page; everything else is quoted.

One budgeting note: boosts stack and expire within a day, so the realistic cost of "top of Trending for a day" is several packs, not one. A DexScreener payment in crypto is converted at the moment of purchase.

How to pay DexScreener, step by step

Profiles and ads are bought on the marketplace, boosts on the token page; both take crypto, the marketplace also takes cards. This is how to pay for DexScreener in practice:

  1. For a profile or an ad: open marketplace.dexscreener.com, pick the product, and fill in the form — contract address, logo, banner, links, description. Use the contract address, never the name; names are duplicated constantly.
  2. For a boost: open the token page on dexscreener.com in a browser, click the yellow Boost button and choose a pack.
  3. Pay: from a wallet in one of the cryptocurrencies offered at checkout, or by card on the marketplace. The accepted coins change, so read the checkout screen rather than a third-party list.
  4. Wait: boosts apply once the payment confirms on-chain; profiles and marketplace ads are processed "within a few minutes", up to 12 hours for a profile. Rejections go through the support channels in the docs — nobody from DexScreener will DM you a payment address.
  5. Check the token page. The check-mark, lightning number or "Ad" label is the receipt — and it is what our tracker sees, usually within a minute.

What happened to tokens that paid (last 7 days)

This is the part the marketplace cannot tell you. The table is live from our database: every payment kind DexScreener exposes, over the last seven days across every chain, and what the market cap did afterwards.

How to read the columns: Count is the number of payments of that kind. Hit +50% is the share of those payments after which the market cap reached at least 50% above the cap at the moment of payment. Did 2× is the share that doubled. Up now is the share currently trading above the paid cap. Flops is the share that traded at 30% or less of the paid cap at least 30 minutes later — the rug-or-dump rate. Best 25% peaked ≥ is the gain the top quarter of payments reached at their peak: if it says +120%, one payment in four of that kind went at least 2.2× at some point.

Two cautions. Small counts make noisy percentages — twelve payments is an anecdote, not a rate. And "hit +50%" measures the peak, not what a buyer captured; a token can hit +50% in four minutes and flop by the hour.

Reading the badges as a trader

A paid badge is a budget signal, not a quality signal. The useful questions are the ones DexScreener leaves out: when did they pay, at what market cap, how many times before, and what did the same kind of payment do for other tokens this week. A first Dex Paid on a fresh launch and a fourth boost on a token that already flopped twice are different stories behind the same badge.

That is why DXT Tools exists: a live feed of every payment as it lands, the cap at that moment, the ATH afterwards, a flop verdict, a "seen before" warning for serial launchers, and a token check for any contract's paid history. The routine is in How to read paid activity; real-time notice is in Alerts.

Frequently asked questions

What is the DexScreener marketplace?

The DexScreener marketplace (marketplace.dexscreener.com) is the self-service page where token teams buy Enhanced Token Info, Token Advertising and Trending Bar Advertising, paying in crypto or by card. Boosts are bought on the token page instead. Listing on DexScreener itself is free.

How do I pay DexScreener?

For a profile or ad, open the marketplace, fill in the form and pay in crypto or by card; most orders process within minutes. For a boost, click the yellow Boost button on the token page in a browser and pay from a wallet; it applies on confirmation.

What does Enhanced Token Info cost on the DexScreener marketplace?

It was listed at $299 one-time (reduced from $499) on the marketplace on 23 Aug 2026, payable in crypto or by card; the CTO claim was $199 the same day. Prices change, so check the marketplace before paying.

How much do DexScreener ads cost?

On 23 Aug 2026 the marketplace listed Token Advertising from $299 and Trending Bar Advertising from $2,000 for 24 hours to one week. Direct deals by email have a $100,000 minimum budget and require KYC. The final price depends on impressions, chain and duration.

How much is a DexScreener boost?

DexScreener shows pack prices only in the Boost dialog on the token page. Packs run from 10x to 500x, last 12 to 24 hours, are non-refundable, and climb from a low three-figure sum to thousands of dollars for 500x.

Does paying DexScreener make a token go up?

No product guarantees it; DexScreener says so itself for Trending-bar ads. Boosts raise a token in Trending for hours, which brings eyes. Our insights table shows, per payment kind, how many payments this week were followed by +50%, a double, or a flop.

Can anyone see that a token paid DexScreener?

Yes. The check-mark, lightning number and Ad label are public, and boosts and profiles are exposed via the public API. DexScreener does not show when or at what market cap; DXT Tools records that for every payment.

Is DXT Tools part of DexScreener?

No. DXT Tools is an independent tracker that reads DexScreener's public API and never takes payments for DexScreener products. This guide is independent; confirm prices on the official marketplace.
