DexScreener banner size, header and logo: what to upload
DexScreener banner size, header size and logo size for token teams: shapes, formats, how a token info update lands after paying, and common rejections.
By DXT Tools Research · updated Aug 23, 2026
The DexScreener banner size question comes up the moment a team pays for Enhanced Token Info: the profile unlocks a logo, a header (the wide banner behind the token name) and, for ad buyers, separate ad banners — and each has its own shape. This page is the short specs sheet: what each image is, which shape and format work, how a token info update lands after payment, and the mistakes that get submissions sent back.
DexScreener logo size: the profile image
The DexScreener logo is a square image (1:1) shown next to the token name in search results, the pair header, Trending rows and every feed that lists the token. It is displayed small — often a circle a few dozen pixels wide — so it must read at thumbnail size.
- Shape: square. Non-square files are cropped or padded, usually badly.
- Resolution: upload a crisp square of several hundred pixels a side; a tiny file looks blurry on retina screens, a huge one is pointless. Sizes in the low hundreds to around a thousand pixels are the normal range for this kind of avatar.
- Format: PNG is the safe default (transparency survives); JPG works for photographic art. Confirm in the form whether animated GIF or WebP is accepted before relying on it.
- Content: one bold symbol or mascot, high contrast, no thin text. Fill the square — empty margins shrink the visible mark even further.
DexScreener header size: the banner behind the name
The DexScreener header (also called the banner) is a wide landscape image shown across the top of the token page once Enhanced Token Info is live. It is the one piece of the profile that looks like marketing, which is why it is the one most often rejected.
- Shape: wide, roughly three times as wide as it is tall — the same family of ratio as a social-media cover image. Square or portrait art gets cropped to a thin strip.
- Resolution: a wide image a thousand-plus pixels across with a matching height keeps it sharp on desktop; the form will state the exact minimum and the file-size ceiling.
- Format: PNG or JPG. Keep the file well under a few megabytes; compress before upload rather than letting the platform downscale it.
- Cropping: the header is shown at different widths on desktop, tablet and phone. The outer left and right edges and the very top and bottom are cut on smaller screens — see the safe-zone tips below.
Unlike the logo, the header is optional in practice: a profile with no header is still Dex Paid. A poor header, however, is visible on every visit, so it is worth doing once properly.
Safe zones, file size and other tips
- Keep the message in the middle. For the header, put the logo and any wordmark in the central band — roughly the middle half of the width and the middle two-thirds of the height. Anything at the edges will be cut on phones.
- No text at the banner edges. Tag lines, URLs and socials hugging the border disappear first. If a URL matters, it belongs in the profile links, not the image.
- Test at thumbnail size. Shrink the logo to the size of a favicon and check you can still tell what it is. If not, simplify.
- Compress. Export at the target resolution, then run it through an image optimiser. Oversized uploads fail silently or get re-encoded with artefacts.
- Match the logo to the token that is already on chain. Wallets, aggregators and bots pull metadata separately; a DexScreener logo that differs from the on-chain one looks like two different projects.
- Avoid look-alikes. Images that borrow another token's mascot, an exchange logo or DexScreener's own branding are the fastest route to a rejection.
DexScreener token info update: how the profile goes live after paying
A DexScreener token info update is the submission the team makes through the marketplace after paying for Enhanced Token Info: the logo, header, description and links are uploaded together, reviewed, and then published to the token page. The submission is reviewed before it is published, so the profile does not appear the second the payment confirms — it lands when the submission is approved; the marketplace said "most orders are processed within a few minutes", with up to 12 hours allowed, when we checked on 23 Aug 2026.
- Pay first on the marketplace, selecting the chain and contract address. Copy the address from the explorer, never from a chat message.
- Fill the token info form in one go: square logo, wide header, a short neutral description, and working links (website, X, Telegram). Broken or placeholder links hold the review up.
- After approval the page shows the check-mark and the new images. Later changes — a rebranded logo, a new header, updated socials — go through the same update form; some changes may be free, others may require a new order, so check the form before assuming.
- The moment the profile goes live is exactly what DXT Tools records as a Dex Paid event: the time, the chain and the market cap at that minute. That is the first public trace of the marketing budget, and it is visible in the Dex Paid feed before most traders notice the check-mark.
Common rejections and how to avoid them
Most rejected token info updates fail on basics, not on policy. The usual causes:
| Problem | What it looks like | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Wrong shape | Square art in the header slot, or a wide logo | Export the logo at 1:1 and the header as a wide landscape file |
| Too small or blurry | Upscaled 200 px logo, screenshot of a logo | Re-export from the source file at full resolution |
| File too large | Multi-megabyte PNG, uncompressed GIF | Compress to well under the limit the form states |
| Text at the edges | URL or slogan cropped off on mobile | Move text to the central safe zone or drop it |
| Impersonation | Borrowed mascot, exchange logo, "verified" ticks drawn into the image | Original art only; no third-party marks |
| Mismatched metadata | Logo differs from the on-chain token image | Use the same artwork everywhere |
| Dead links | Placeholder website, locked Telegram, wrong X handle | Test every link while logged out before submitting |
If a submission is rejected, the reason is usually stated in the marketplace order; fix that one thing and resubmit rather than changing everything.
What DexScreener doesn't show you
DexScreener shows the finished profile — logo, header, check-mark. It does not show when that profile went live, what the token was worth at that moment, or whether the same team has uploaded the same artwork under other contracts before. DXT Tools records every first-time Dex Paid profile as it lands, across every chain:
Frequently asked questions
What is the DexScreener banner size?
The DexScreener banner (header) is a wide landscape image, roughly three times wider than tall, shown across the top of a Dex Paid token page. The marketplace upload form states the current exact pixel size and file-size limit; keep key content in the centre because edges are cropped on mobile.
What is the DexScreener logo size?
The DexScreener logo is a square (1:1) image shown small next to the token name. Upload a crisp square of several hundred pixels a side in PNG or JPG, with one bold symbol that still reads at thumbnail size.
Is the header the same as the banner on DexScreener?
Yes — "header" and "banner" both refer to the wide profile image unlocked by Enhanced Token Info. Ad banners are a different, paid product with their own slot sizes.
How do I update token info on DexScreener?
Pay for Enhanced Token Info on marketplace.dexscreener.com, then submit the logo, header, description and links through the token info form. Submissions are reviewed and published on approval; later changes go through the same form.
How long does a DexScreener token info update take?
The marketplace states most orders are processed within a few minutes, with up to 12 hours allowed (as listed on 23 Aug 2026). Complete, correctly sized submissions with working links go through fastest; rejected ones must be fixed and resubmitted, which restarts the wait.
Can I see when a token's DexScreener profile went live?
DexScreener does not show the time. DXT Tools logs every first-time Dex Paid profile with its timestamp, chain and market cap at that moment — check the Dex Paid feed or paste the contract into the token check.
