The DexScreener app — mobile, desktop, login, and what it can't show you
DexScreener app guide: official iOS and Android apps, why to avoid APK sites, DexScreener on PC, what needs a login — and what the app never shows.
By DXT Tools Research · updated Aug 23, 2026
The DexScreener app is the mobile version of dexscreener.com: the same live charts, new-pairs lists, Trending tabs and token pages, packaged for a phone. DexScreener publishes official apps for iOS and Android, and the website itself works on any device with a browser, so there is never a reason to install anything from a third-party site.
This page answers the practical questions people type before they open the app: where to download DexScreener safely, whether there is a DexScreener APK, how to use DexScreener for PC, what a DexScreener login is actually for — and the one thing the app cannot show you: who paid DexScreener for a profile, a boost or an ad, and what happened to those tokens afterwards.
Where the official DexScreener app lives
The official DexScreener app is distributed through the Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android), and the safe way to reach either listing is through the app links on dexscreener.com itself. Do not search a store by name and tap the first result: clones with the same logo and a slightly different publisher name appear regularly, and a store badge on a random website proves nothing.
Before you install, check three things on the store page: the publisher matches the one linked from the official site, the review history goes back months rather than days, and the app asks for no permissions beyond notifications. A price screener does not need your contacts, SMS or accessibility access.
- DexScreener app for Android — Google Play only. If a site offers a "latest version" outside the Play Store, that is the warning sign, not a convenience.
- DexScreener for iOS — App Store only. Apple does not allow sideloaded crypto apps through normal channels, so any "iOS download" link outside the store is a phishing page.
- Updates — let the store handle them. An app that asks you to update through a link in a chat message is not the official app.
Is there a DexScreener APK?
There is no official DexScreener APK published outside Google Play. Every "dexscreener apk" file on download sites is either a repackaged copy of the Play Store build, an outdated version, or a wrapper around the website with extra code you cannot inspect. The first two are pointless — the store version is free — and the third is how wallet-draining malware usually arrives on Android.
The risk is real. A fake screener app can show a normal chart while it reads your clipboard for seed phrases, overlays a fake "connect wallet" sheet, or swaps the contract address you copy for one it controls. DexScreener never needs a wallet to browse, so any app that asks to connect one during setup has already told you what it is.
If your phone cannot use Google Play, open dexscreener.com in the browser and add it to your home screen instead (next section): same data, no sideloading.
DexScreener for PC and desktop
There is no separate DexScreener desktop program to download: DexScreener for PC is the website. Open dexscreener.com in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari and you have the full screener — multi-chart view, every chain, the Trending, New pairs and Gainers tabs, and the search that accepts a contract address or a pair address. Any "DexScreener desktop" installer, .exe or .dmg offered for download is, again, not from DexScreener.
If you want an app-like window, install the site as a Progressive Web App. In Chrome or Edge, open dexscreener.com, use the browser menu and choose Install (or Add to Home screen on a phone). You get an icon, a window without browser chrome, and the same live data; the browser still handles security updates. This also works on Linux and on Android phones that cannot reach the Play Store.

DexScreener login and sign up: what actually needs an account
Nothing about browsing DexScreener needs an account. Charts, new pairs, Trending, token pages, the paid badges (the check-mark, the lightning bolt, the ad banner, the CTO label) and the search are all public and free, on the website and in the app. A DexScreener sign up is only useful for the personal features that have to follow you between devices: saved watchlists, price alerts and your preferences. If you only look things up, you can ignore the login button entirely.
At the time of writing the account system is a simple sign-in from the site or the app; it never involves a wallet. If a "DexScreener login" page asks you to connect a wallet, sign a message, enter a seed phrase or approve a transaction, you are on a clone. Close it.
- Does not need an account: charts, search by contract address, new pairs, Trending, token profiles, boosts and ad badges, multi-chart view.
- Needs an account: watchlists that sync across devices, price and activity alerts in the app, saved settings.
- Never part of a real login: wallet connection, seed phrases, private keys, transaction approvals, "verification" payments.
Token teams who want to edit a profile use the separate marketplace — a payment flow, not a user account; see the paid services guide.
Login safety: the three rules
- Type the address. Reach dexscreener.com by typing it or from your own bookmark, not from a link in a group chat, a reply under a tweet, or a sponsored search result. Lookalike domains with an extra letter are the most common phishing route.
- Never connect a wallet to a screener. DexScreener shows data; it does not trade for you. The trade buttons on a token page open the DEX or aggregator in a new tab — that is where a wallet belongs, and even there only after you have checked the URL.
- Treat "verify your account" messages as attacks. DexScreener does not DM you, does not ask for a payment to keep a watchlist, and does not send support agents to Telegram. Official help is the docs and the channels linked from the site.
If you already connected a wallet to something that looked like DexScreener, assume it is compromised: move funds to a fresh wallet and revoke approvals from the old one before anything else.
What the app cannot show you
The DexScreener app shows you that a token paid — the check-mark, the lightning badge with a pack size, the banner — but not when it paid, what the market cap was at that moment, how many times the same team has paid before, or what happened to the price afterwards. Those are not features that got cut from mobile; DexScreener does not show them on the website either, and the public API only exposes the current lists, not the history.
That is what DXT Tools records from the public API across every chain: every first-time Dex Paid profile, boost purchase, ad campaign and CTO (community takeover), stamped with the market cap at the moment of payment, the ATH reached since, and a plain verdict. It is a website — no download, no account, no wallet — so it sits next to the app on a phone or next to the site on a PC. Paste any contract into the token check, or watch the feed below.
What DexScreener doesn't show you
The latest payments to DexScreener right now, on every chain — the market cap when each landed, and where the token is today. None of this appears in the app:
Frequently asked questions
Is there an official DexScreener app?
Yes. DexScreener publishes mobile apps for iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). Reach the listings through the links on dexscreener.com rather than a store search, because lookalike apps with the same logo appear regularly.
Is there a DexScreener APK?
Not an official one. The Android app is only distributed through Google Play. APK files on download sites are repackaged, outdated or modified copies, and modified screener apps are a known route for wallet-draining malware.
How do I use DexScreener on PC?
Open dexscreener.com in any browser; that is the desktop version. There is no installer. For an app-like window, use the browser's Install option to add it as a web app.
Do I need a DexScreener login?
No for browsing. Charts, search, Trending, new pairs and token pages are free without an account. An account is only for watchlists, alerts and settings that sync between devices.
Does DexScreener ask you to connect a wallet?
No. DexScreener is a screener, not a wallet or an exchange. Any DexScreener-looking page or app that asks you to connect a wallet, sign a message or enter a seed phrase is a phishing clone.
Can the DexScreener app show which tokens paid for boosts or profiles?
Only the badges on each token page. It does not show when a token paid, at what market cap, or what happened next. DXT Tools records that history from the public API and shows it on the web, no download needed.
Is the DexScreener app free?
Yes. The app, the website and an account are free for users. DexScreener only charges token teams for Enhanced Token Info, boosts and ads, through its marketplace.
